Energy company awards non-profits $48K in grants

CEDAR RAPIDS — The Alliant Energy Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Alliant Energy, announced it has distributed $48,000 in grants to 15 local non-profits. Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois received $2,500 for Girl Scout STEM.
