What about camp food? What if my camper has dietary restrictions?

Meals are delicious and well-balanced, and are served family-style in the dining hall. You will have some options and will be encouraged to try something new. You may even cook your own meal over a campfire. If you have food allergies, or you’re a vegetarian, don’t worry; we make sure every girl has plenty to eat.  We often accommodate for food allergies and dietary restrictions including peanut allergies, diabetes, gluten-free, and vegetarian diets.  The best way to ensure your daughter has a good time and these needs are met is to note these concerns on the Camper Information Form and/or contact the camp director.  Please do not send food or snacks with your camper.

What about severe weather?

Our staff are training in procedures and emergency action plans. Weather alert radios are monitored throughout camp, and there are designated storm shelters for each camp. If the weather is unusually hot activities are changed to keep campers safe. During weather alerts we will need the phone lines kept open to contact different parts of camp or emergency services; please do not call during severe weather. Check out camp blog for weather updates.

Does my camper need spending money?

Our camps have a camp store called the Trading Post which sells items from $0.50-$30. You can leave money, a check, or Cookie Program Credit upon check in at camp for your camper to use at the camp store. We cannot accept credit/debit cards.
