Dubuque 6th-8th grade Troop Leader
Be the role model for our girls today. Partner up with a friend or
let us partner you up with another great role model to give
6th-8th grade girls the experience of a
lifetime. Meetings happen on your schedule and we have training,
online resources and staff suppoer to ensure you have an amazing
experience. Give girls a lilfetime lasting experiencce through
volunteering for one of our flexible timeframes – you pick!
Neighborhood Troop Facilitator
These troops are established to give girls an opportunity to have a
Girl Scout experience while waiting for a troop to get organized.
Volunteers are needed to assist staff with delivering programs.

Mentor a group of girls and lead them through the Girl Scout
program. Troop leaders will work with parents of girls in the troop to
pull everyone together and create fun monthly and bi-monthly meetings.
Help with troop activities that fit their interest, availability,
and skills. Troop volunteers can assist with driving, activity
planning, snacks, money management, or other tasks necessary to have a
successful year in Girl Scouts.
Council Cookie Cupboard Coordinator
Looking for a volunteer to help coordinate and secure locations for
the Girl Scout cookie booth sales. Must have the ability to make phone
calls and confirm locations across 38 county area. Many of these
calls are confirmation calls but may require some cold calls. Short
team opportunity – November and December – hours are flexible.
Troop Product Managers
Makes sure the troop is organization during the Fall Sale and Cookie
Sale Programs. Troop product managers will organize plans for selling
products, manage inventory and money, and help girls develop financial
literacy skills through these programs.
Troop Communication Managers
Keeps the troop connected through email, text, and social media.
Service Unit Volunteers
Mentor other volunteers working with Girl Scouts. Service Units are
groups of local troops that work together to provide resources and
programs for girls.
