The Girl Advisory Committee wants to ensure that all Girl Scouts have a space to focus on their mental health! When girls (and volunteers) take the time to prioritize their mental, physical, and emotional well-being, they can make an amazing impact in this world.
All Girl Scouts in middle and high school are invited to Camp Liberty November 13-14, 2021, to join this energizing conference planned for and by teens. The overnight event will be full of guest speakers and activities on a variety of mental health topics. And separate sessions and overnight accommodations will be available for middle and high school girls.
Get ready for these session topics:
- Adapting to change
- Playing for your mental health
- Importance of sleep
- Healthy relationships
- Thinking habits
Also, find out about different forms of therapy by spending time with calming animals and taking a break in nature.
Participants will be active and creative, too! Join a “broken bowls” art project, make BUJOs (bullet journals, design henna tattoos, and even treat yourself during a Saturday night spa retreat.

All girls need to register by November 3, 2021. Cadettes will earn
the Science of Happiness badge, Seniors will earn the Women's Health
badge, and Ambassadors will earn the Coaching badge as well as a
custom fun patch.
