Plan a Winter Campout

Web Feature 530x220

Ever wonder what happens at camp during the winter? Come check it out! Try winter camping at your favorite Girl Scout camps. Reserve modern accommodations at Liberty, Little Cloud, and L-Kee-Ta for a snowy and cozy setting.

A fresh blanket of snow magically transforms our camps! Try ice skating on a rink that might be the basketball court, sip delicious hot cocoa by the fire in your cabin, find a new view of camp on a winter hike, and cozy up for board games and bonding indoors!

If your troop plans to explore the outdoors, all three Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois camps offer ice skating, sledding, and hiking and Little Cloud and L-Kee-Ta have shelter building and snowshoeing.

If your troop prefers to be nice and cozy indoors, a winter weekend at camp is the perfect time to work on earning badges, crafting, and cooking in the unit kitchens. And there’s nothing like a troop slumber party with a late-night movie and all the popcorn you can eat!
