About Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts is a flexible program that fits busy family schedules, meeting 1-2 times each month for 60-90 minutes. Girls can join at any program level! Whether she’s in kindergarten and ready to make friends or in high school and looking to build her resume, we have activities and opportunities designed around her interests.
To create kind, confident, and competent leaders, our program centers around the outdoors, STEM, life skills, and entrepreneurship. Activities for Girl Scouts are fun and research-backed, with each badge, field trip, and event building independence, creativity, and resilience.
Girl Scouts can join independently or find a troop that meets at a date, time, and location that fits their schedules. Contact our team to find a troop or start a new troop!

Girl Scout History
The extraordinary journey of Girl Scouts began when the courageous founder, Juliette Gordon Low, started working to empower girls.
On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the first Girl Scout troop. Over the past century, that small circle of girls has grown to include millions of Girl Scout alumnae.
