At Girl Scouts, “Can I?” quickly turns into “I will!”

When girls succeed, we all succeed!

Through our Community Partnerships programs, staff provide the opportunity for all girls to become Girl Scouts and reach their full potential.

Participating in a traditional Girl Scout troop can be challenging for girls when there is not enough volunteers at their school or in their neighborhood. Thanks to corporate and foundation partners, Girl Scouts provides paid staff to deliver the program right in the school or partner site during or after the school day so all girls have access to a safe and quality experience.

Through partnerships with more than 80 schools, community centers, and youth-serving organizations, Girl Scouts in our staff-led programs are building a foundation of success. Our team members are safe and supportive adults who have passed a background check and are prepared to work with kids of all abilities!

Essential Outcomes

From hosting cookie booths to building life skills to exploring new interests with friends, girls are developing self-esteem, positive values, and the confidence to problem solve.

Our staff-led program sparks girls' next step toward changing the world!

Explore some of the staff-led programs girls get to experience through Girl Scouts. Each program is centered around one of the 4 core outcomes: Life Skills, STEM, Entrepreneurship, and Outdoors. Once a program is complete, girls are invited to join a troop, attend summer camp, participate in the Cookie Program, and join year-round events.

Kintsugi: The Beauty of Repair toggle arrow

Girl Scouts will use the Japanese-inspired art of visible repair to transform a “broken” piece into something meaningful. The activity builds resilience, self-compassion, and a growth mindset by showing students that setbacks can become part of a stronger story.

Knot Tying and Bandanas toggle arrow

Girl Scouts will practice useful knots and explore practical ways to use a bandana in everyday and outdoor situations. Students strengthen self-reliance, fine-motor coordination, problem-solving, and preparedness.

Color Theory with Wax Sticks toggle arrow

Girl Scouts will experiment with color mixing, contrast, and pattern using wax sticks to create an original work of art. Students develop creative decision-making, visual communication, attention to detail, and confidence in trying new approaches.

Parachutes toggle arrow

Girl Scouts will design, build, and test a miniature parachute while exploring how materials, surface area, and weight affect its descent. Students develop engineering habits of mind, teamwork, adaptability, and perseverance as they refine their designs.
