Participating in a traditional Girl Scout troop can be challenging for girls when there is not enough volunteers at their school or in their neighborhood. Thanks to corporate and foundation partners, Girl Scouts provides paid staff to deliver the program right in the school or partner site during or after the school day so all girls have access to a safe and quality experience.
Through partnerships with more than 80 schools, community centers, and youth-serving organizations, Girl Scouts in our staff-led programs are building a foundation of success. From hosting Cookie Booths to weekend camping to meeting weekly to explore their interests with friends, girls are developing self-esteem, positive values, and the confidence to problem solve.
