A vibrant, feelgood overnight adventure where Girl Scouts soak up nature, make new friends, and dive into the power of mental wellness through fun, meaningful activities that leave them feeling connected, confident, and recharged.

Rest and Renew

Winter is calling, and Girl Scouts are answering with a weekend built for coziness, creativity, and calm! Rest & Renew is your chance to pause, breathe, and dive into hands-on activities that help girls recharge and step into the new year feeling refreshed and inspired.

This summer conference for middle and high school girls to explore a college campus, rotating to different colleges and universities in the region. Girl Scouts will develop their skills to match their ambitions while making a social impact for good.

Solar Sisters Astronomy Club toggle arrow

Solar Sisters is an out-of-this-world club with a goal of promoting lifelong learning of space science, while creating opportunities for Girl Scouts in our council to learn about astronomy.

Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 can become a member of the Solar Sisters Astronomy club and explore space, science, and more through monthly meetings, field trips, and leadership opportunities.

Counselor in Training I toggle arrow

Campers will take their first step toward becoming a camp counselor and explore what it is really like to be on staff at Girl Scout Camp. Learn the basics of engaging campers of all ages while growing leadership skills. CIT 1 is the best of both worlds! Continue your leadership journey by helping lead activities with counselors and staff, and participate in activities as a camper.

During this session campers will:

Interview, observe, and assist camp staff to experience what camp counseling is all about
Lead songs, games, and group activities that build energy and create community
Complete a service project that benefits the camp and strengthens teamwork
Reflect on their experiences as they grow into their role as a leader and role model
Take an overnight trip to visit other camps to discover how their programs are unique but similar
Build teamwork and trust on the high ropes course
Earn the Girl Scout Counselor-in-Training Award Pin
Enjoy camp favorites like campfire cooking, creative arts, and time at the lake with friends

Teen Advisory Group toggle arrow

8^th grade Cadettes, Senior, and Ambassador members will provide guidance to council staff for developing programs for teens. Teen Advisory Group members will:

Plan and implement a Fall/Winter CSA overnight event
Develop skills in project management and teamwork
Support council-wide events as youth facilitators or emcees.
Create new program ideas that align with council and GSEIWI priorities.
Provide strategic feedback for council leadership regarding programming, GSEIWI goals, and key organizational priorities
Develop career readiness through networking experiences
Gather feedback from peers and communicating youth perspectives to leadership
Advocate for issues important to girls and young women
Identifying emerging trends and needs among Girl Scouts in the Council.

The committee meets the first Thursday of each month virtually from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Apply now!

Girl Board Members toggle arrow

Girl Scouts in grades 10-12 can expand their leadership opportunities and become a member of the girl board. You will represent all Girl Scouts when addressing important decisions for the council. When you're a member of the girl board you will see women in leadership roles, make lasting connections, and share your thoughts about Girl Scouts. Plus, it looks great on a resume. Girl Board Members are non-voting members of the council Board of Directors. Applications open December 2026.

Media Girls toggle arrow

Become a Media Girl for our council!

We're looking for Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 interested in helping us with social media at events and connecting with more people across our council. No matter your skill level, we encourage you to apply!

Here’s what you can expect while being a Media Girl:

Capture photo and video content at larger events such as Journey the World, Raise Your Voice, and other council events
Capture similar content at smaller events of your choosing such as regular meetings and troop events
Attend check-in meetings periodically with the Marketing Coordinator and fellow Media Girls
Get hands-on experience working with cameras and editing tools
Have opportunities to participate in public speaking events, media visits, and social media takeovers
Add to your resume and build your portfolio
Build connections and add to your professional references
Receive a special Media Girls patch to wear on your uniform!
