Build her Girl Scout Experience
Each Girl Scout has an experience that is uniquely designed for her
interests and schedule! As a member of Girl Scouts, she will
participate in fun activities that help her explore, make friendships
with other girls, and learn from positive role models.
Ways to Participate
Virtual Troops
Join monthly virtual activities with Girl
Scouts across the council to earn badges and participate in at-home
science experiments, outdoor challenges, and service projects.
Traditional Girl Scout Troops
Volunteer Troop
Leaders will lead girls through an engaging Girl Scout experience!
Traditional Troops typically meet bi-weekly or monthly for 60-90
minutes to earn badges and participate in fun activities together.
Juliettes
With support from a mentor, Juliettes lead
their Girl Scout experience on their own time. Girls participating as
a Juliette join council programs, summer camp, and sell Girl Scout
Cookies to stay engaged.
Community Outreach
Girl Scout staff work with schools
and community centers to break down barriers in underserved areas to
provide
a Girl Scout experience.
Neighborhood Troops
Girl Scout staff will plan
activities for girls! Neighborhood Troops are only available in
certain areas and typically meet monthly for 60-90 minutes to earn
badges and participate in fun activities together.
Events and Camp
Our local program team has a regular
schedule of events
and activities that all members can attend on their own or with
a Troop. Girls can also join summer
camp and year-round outdoor programs!

Every Girl is Invited
The Girl Scout organization has always welcomed girls from all backgrounds and abilities. In fact, Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, was partially deaf — and when she started our organization, she was determined to make our program work for all girls.
Including everyone is the foundation on which we build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Communication between leaders and parents can make a world of difference in understanding and working with every girl, regardless of age, background, or abilities.

Girl Scout Program
Girl Scouts are all about making the world a better place. How do they achieve such a big goal? Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience—a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges, going on awesome trips, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects.
All our programs are designed with a research-backed curriculum that centers around fun and friendship. To create engaging experiences, we focus on four core program areas the sparks girls’ interests.

And as she has fun exploring her interests through our program, she is also developing a foundation for success.
