Juniors: Join Solar Sisters Astronomy Club and the Cedar Amateur Astronomers for a fun badge workshop at the Eastern Iowa Observatory and Learning Center!
- Earn the Space Science Investigator badge
- Use various telescopes to discover secrets of our solar system, the galaxy that we live in, and other exciting astronomical bodies
- Learn about how light works
- Discover how we use science to determine just what is in the sky
- Please bring a water bottle (labeled with name) and dress for the weather; some activities will be outdoors
- This is a rain or shine event - we don't cancel for weather
***Badges can be purchased after the event at the Girl Scout Shops.***
***Troops must meet ratio, Individual Girl Scouts must be accompanied by a caregiver***
