By using our collective power, the Girl Scout Movement is creating change in our communities that is long overdue. Sisterhood, justice, and fairness—are values of Girl Scouts, and we take action when we see a need to live by our Girl Scout Law.
While we recognize that this is far from easy or fast work, we are building a dynamic Movement that welcomes all girls and gives them a place to be themselves fully.
Diversity Patch Program
The Diversity Patch Program is for Girl Scouts of all levels to celebrate and honor our community's rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories. The patch program begins with the Trefoil center patch, followed by 5 five rocker patches that acknowledge the many contributions each community has made and continues to make across our nation.

The Anti-Racism patch represents the first Girl Scout My Values patch created by GSUSA to reflect the values of the Girl Scout Movement. Girls can wear this patch to show the values they believe in.
Girl Scouting prepares girls to be leaders in our world, to speak up, speak out, and take action for fairness, equality, civility, and compassion for all people, and to arm them with the courage, confidence, and character they need to make the world a better place.
Civic Action
Anyone can tell others what to do. A true leader can make smart decisions, act fairly and responsibly, and let others on the team shine as they work together. Through earning Girl Scout badges, girls learn to be empathetic and equitable leaders in their communities.
