Girl Scout troops, leaders, and volunteers help make Halloweekend a success each year by hosting tents for Tent-N-Treat. They work together to plan and decorate a platform tent at camp and provide treats (and maybe a few tricks!) to hand out to guests.
If you've been thinking about participating at Tent-N-Treat with your troop, sign up now and start planning how you will decorate your tent!
Need a little more information? Here are three reasons why hosting a tent is a great idea for your troop:
Girl Scouts and adults who host a tent at Halloweekend must register for the event in advance. You will be given a code for free admission after signing up for Tent-N-Treat.
Girl Scouts and volunteers will have time to check out all of the activities at Halloweekend before Tent-N-Treat starts. Some troops also work in shifts, giving Girl Scouts plenty of time to go explore Camp Liberty, ride horses, make a carmel apple, and more!
Tents will be judged and prizes will be earned by the troops who do the best job tricking out their tent for each level of fright! The "Best in Show" troop will also earn a free overnight at the GSEIWI camp of their choice.
