Our Girl Scout movement is bringing online programs as a fun, new way
to participate at home! From crafts to keep active to online badge and
journey sessions, we have activities planned for all girls.

The Diversity Patch Program is is designed to celebrate and
honor the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of our
communitites. It begins with the Trefoil center patch, followed by 5 rocker
patches that acknowledge the many contributions that each community
has made and continues to make across our nation.
The program is for Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders, and we encourage girls from all ethnic backgrounds to participate.
The Black History Month Celebration Patch
is designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders to
celebrate the cultural richness of Black Americans and those whose
ancestors originated in the African diaspora.

The Anti-Racism patch represents the first Girl
Scout My Values patch created by GSUSA to reflect the values of the
Girl Scout Movement. Girls can wear this patch to show the values they
believe in.

Join your Girl Scout
sisters at Girl Scouts of Lakes and Pines for a museum adventure! Play
a game of “I Spy” in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural

Honoring Our Veterans Patch
In partnership with Girl Scout alumnae and veteran, Senator
Tammy Duckworth, our council is giving back to Veterans through acts
of service. To earn the Honoring Veterans Patch, follow the
directions, and complete two service activities.
Leader Appreciation Patch
April is Leader
Appreciation Month and a great time to thank the Girl Scout volunteers
that make your experience possible. While you’re at home, create a
video, card, or token of appreciation for your Troop Leader.
SWAPS Challenge Patch
Are you up for a special
SWAPS challenge? We are challenging all girl scouts to create a
special SWAP using materials found at their house! Get creative with
recycled materials, look outside for natural materials, or even use
dry pasta or rice from the kitchen!
Vision Board Self Portrait Patch
Start off by
drawing a picture of yourself. Make sure to draw yourself wearing your
favorite outfit, your hair just the way you like it, and with a big
smile on your face! Then find some magazines or print off photos from
the computer. Cut out words our pictures that describe you and paste
them around your self-portrait.
Staying Connected Patch
Write a letter or color a
Thank You note for someone who has stepped up to help others during
this time. This could be the doctors and nurses working hard at the
hospitals, the grocery store employees keep shelves stocked and
providing service to customers, or first responders. You can also
choose to spread some happiness to people living in nursing homes or
patients in hospitals.

Random Acts of Kindness Patch
Brainstorm all of
the ways you could help spread some kindness during this time. Could
you help your parents around the house by cleaning up your room? Could
you look through your clothes and toys to see which ones you could
donate? Do you have a neighbor that could use help getting groceries
or doing yard work? There are many ways you can make a difference in
the world from your own home! Share a photo of yourself doing a random
act of kindness to inspire your Girl Scout sisters!

troop, and your community connected.
Parents new to tracking badges and patches earned by their Girl Scout can download the family resource guide that provides basic information about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Families can use the worksheets at the end of the document to keep track of all the badges and journeys their daughters earn at home.
