Daisies and Brownies: What happens when candy and science come together? A whole lot of fun! In this hands-on STEM experience, girls will discover the science behind their favorite sweet treats through exciting experiments and creative challenges.
During this program, girls will:
- Learn about scientists and what they do.
- Collect candy core samples like paleoclimatologists.
- Investigate how candy colors mix and move.
- Make and eat edible slime.
- Test candy buoyancy.
- Discover which soda makes the biggest Mentos eruption.
- Receive a fun event patch.
New to Girl Scouts? Pick up your new uniform! Place an order for pickup at any shop or office, or at this event. Just select the location or event at checkout. Shop Daisy (grades K-1) uniforms or shop Brownie (grades 2-3) uniforms.
***Troops must follow ratio requirements. Individual Girl Scouts need to attend with a caregiver.***
