Volunteers: Outdoor Skills Certification allows you to take your Girl Scouts camping practically anywhere! This training is required for volunteers wishing to lead a safe and positive camping experience.
NOTE: Troop Travel and Overnight Training, located in GSLearn, must be taken prior to Outdoor Skills Training.

Participants will:
- Learn the 8 Outdoor Skills and how to teach them to Girl Scouts
- Learn about Girl Scout progression and what each age level should try outdoors
- Develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
- Get to know Leave No Trace principles
- Tie knots and learn knife safety
- Master outdoor navigation
- Learn first aid for outdoor conditions
