Girl Scouts in grades 10-12 can expand their leadership opportunities and become a member of the girl board. You will represent all Girl Scouts when addressing important decisions for the council. When you're a member of the girl board you will see women in leadership roles, make lasting connections, and share your thoughts about Girl Scouts. Plus, it looks great on a resume.
"Being a member of the Girl Board has boosted my confidence in expressing my opinions and thoughts! I love the chance to learn about the decision-making processes that go on behind the scenes and how those choices benefit Girl Scouts as a whole. It’s amazing to me how many opportunities are available to older girls in Girl Scouts. I just love being a part of any Girl Scouts activities because it empowers me to build lifelong skills while being part of a greater community!"
- Divya Ramadugu
"My experience with the board has been so welcoming and inclusive, and I think it is an amazing opportunity to learn more from wiser Girl Scouts. Some of my favorite parts about being on the board is getting to meet new people and learning more about Girl Scouts with so many kinda and smart people. It has been a great experience so far!"
- Killian Graff
"My experience on the board has been a great experience because everyone there is welcoming and it has been a great opportunity to build connections. Through my experience I've learned about the interworkings of a nonprofit such as Girl Scouts."
- Rachel Johnson
Girl Board Members will be interviewed and selected in January. Selected Girl Board Members will be voted in at the annual meeting in March and serve a one-year term.
