Did you know that we have a summer camp program each year at our very own Camp Liberty? Our camp sessions are designed to challenge Girl Scouts to find independence, create friendships, and take risks in a safe and supportive environment. To help you prepare for your new camper—or returning camper, we have free resources available like our Summer Camp Guide here!
We have sessions for girls of all ages, different skill levels, and different interests. Here are our session categories:
À La Carte
À La Carte Camp offers a flexible, camper-choice experience where each morning begins with a fresh menu of activities. Campers can dive into adventurous outdoor fun, peaceful moments under the stars, and a week full of unforgettable memories. From Brownies to Ambassadors, Girl Scouts should choose this camp to experience classic summer camp activities like archery, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, challenge elements, crafts, and so much more.
Explore Outdoors
The Explore Outdoors series invites campers to trade routine for adventure. Campers will feel the crunch of a forest trail beneath their boots, the warmth of the sun on their shoulders, and the satisfaction of discovering new skills in the great outdoors.
Challenge Programs
Camp Liberty’s summer challenge programs are all about growth through adventure. Campers begin with ground-level activities like low ropes courses, where they build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in a safe and supportive setting. As their confidence grows, so do the challenges, progressing to the rock wall, zip line, high ropes, and even off-site adventure trips.
Partner Programs
Leave the busy schedules, screens, and everyday distractions behind and step into a world where the focus is on connection, adventure, and shared experiences. Our He & Me and She & Me partner sessions offer campers the chance to bring a parent, grandparent, or mentor to camp for a weekend filled with laughter, discovery, and meaningful time together.
Troop Camp
Ready to give your Girl Scouts an unforgettable camp experience without the stress of planning every detail? Troop Camp at Camp Liberty is the perfect way to enjoy the magic of camp together while we take care of the logistics. You bring the girls and provide supervision; we provide the program, the meals, and all the fun.
Equestrian Sessions
Camp Liberty’s horseback riding programs invite campers to grow alongside their horse partners in a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment. Whether they’re just meeting horses for the first time or building on years of experience, every rider is empowered to take charge of her own journey.
Leadership Sessions
The Leadership Series empowers high school campers to develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration. All of which prepares them for success in college, careers, and community leadership. Campers will earn Girl Scout awards that recognize their achievements and set them on the path toward the Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting.
