Arconic Foundation Awards Grant to Girl Scouts to Expand STEM Opportunities for Girls
Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois is proud to celebrate a generous gift of $30,000 from the Arconic Foundation.
“Thanks to the generosity of Arconic Foundation, we are able to provide more girls with access to transformative STEM learning opportunities that build confidence, curiosity, and career readiness,” said Shelly Wells Ernster, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois' Chief Development Officer. “This investment will help girls discover their potential and pursue pathways that can shape their futures.”
The grant will help Girl Scouts develop critical skills in engineering, problem-solving, leadership, and innovation through hands-on STEM experiences designed to inspire the next generation of female leaders and professionals.
