Camp Liberty

Near the Quad Cities      

Get outdoors at Camp Liberty in New Liberty, Iowa, just north of the I-80 Truckstop! Camp Liberty hosts a premiere summer camp for girls, equestrian program, and year-round outdoor and camping opportunities. The 245 wooded acres at Camp Liberty’s natural landscape provides the perfect setting for any outdoor adventure or event. At the heart of Camp Liberty sits a new climate-controlled lodge with Wifi and commercial kitchen which accommodates 250 people. Adjoining cabins attached to the lodge sleep 24 each and individual cabin units are found throughout the property as well. Covered pavilions create the perfect location for picnics and activities and fire pits host a special place for any sunset s’mores party. Flint Lake provides canoeing, kayaking, and fishing opportunities as well as a place to relax. A modern swimming pool with diving board and shower house also makes for a fun troop or family gathering. Miles of trails are available for hiking and adventure-seekers love the new zip-line and high and low ropes courses.

Camp Little Cloud is a scenic "home away from home" located 14 miles west of Dubuque. It is situated on 154 wooded acres and features rolling hills, meadowlands, natural springs, and pond. At first glance, the outstanding attribute of this camp is the modern facilities. Camp Little Cloud has a pool available for warm-months use, several winterized cabins, and “lodge-type” buildings. Some platform tents and teepees are also available. The main lodge, Singing Bird, can seat up to 200 diners and has a modern kitchen. This building is fully winterized. Adjacent to this main building is Shagbark Lodge, which is also winterized and can house up to 60 people. Shagbark Lodge has a fully operational, medium sized, kitchen.

Near Burlington

Camp L-Kee-Ta is the perfect camp to come to for a group adventure. Visit and have fun, while experiencing the great outdoors! It is located in southeast Iowa just six miles south of Danville on 150 beautifully wooded acres. Dankwardt Lodge is climate controlled and can seat 75 diners for a meal and is a great place to socialize around the large stone fireplace. Another great feature of this camp is its all-season, Cotty Hicklin Troop House. This beautiful log structure is as perfect for family gatherings as it is for troop camping. Additional camp features include a troop house, treehouses, platform tents, cabins, huts, and a swimming pool. Hiking on several maintained trails allow you to explore what this lovely camp has to offer.

In the heart of downtown Rock Island, the Girl Scout Program Center offers Girl Scouts, as well as the community, a fun space for any event, retreat, or meeting. The building has a capacity for 175 people with outdoor space for games and a fire pit! The kitchen includes everything you need to prepare your next event's meal and there's plenty of meeting rooms for different activities. The Program Center includes a craft room, as well as open space that fits 50-70 people. This building also includes a third story balcony that overlooks the Mississippi River and an indoor slide!
