Lisa Bluder, the all-time winningest coach in Big Ten history, the 10th winningest coach in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history, and lifetime Girl Scout is a trailblazing leader and an expert in leadership, team development, and building a winning culture both on and off the court.
Her ability to motivate and get the best out of her players, including Caitlin Clark, the leading scorer in NCAA history for both men’s and women’s basketball, has solidified her reputation as a transformative coach.
We are very excited to be partnering with Lisa Bluder to host a fundraising event to support Girl Scouts and the next generation of leaders.
Bluder will take the stage at a special luncheon on July 1st at Bally’s Casino in Rock Island. The "Leading with a Winning Culture," event will honor the legacy of the Girl Scouts and highlight the important values of courage, confidence, and character that fuel the Girl Scout movement. Guests will hear from Bluder as she reflects on her coaching journey and the power of cultivating a winning mindset—on and off the court.
“The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are proud to welcome Coach Bluder to the Quad Cities,” said Diane Nelson, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois. “We have had a long history with Coach Bluder – she’s a lifetime Girl Scout - and we look forward to hearing leadership lessons she learned along the way.”
Tickets for the “Leading with a Winning Culture” luncheon are now available with all proceeds going to supporting opportunities, programs, and development for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.
